After seeing the need for a home to care for her father, John D. Stephens, Williams knew this was a need other families would experience. She continued, “I knew others would want the same care and home for their families, so in loving memory of my beloved father, my husband, David, also a Veteran, and I opened our first personal care home committed to veterans and their dependents called Peaceful River I.” Later seeing a need for care for those who are developmentally disabled or “differently abled,” they opened a second home called Peaceful River II.  Not believing that they had yet fulfilled the complete vision God entrusted to her or reached their full potential, they expanded to open an additional home and now have Peaceful River I, II, and III. In addition, a little more than a year ago, Peaceful River expanded to private homecare which allows the agency to send caregivers, primarily CNA’s, to the homes of clients in a multi-county region.

“At Peaceful River Residential Services, your family member is cared for like family,” she said.  The approximately 3,000 square foot homes and their many amenities are designed to provide residents and individuals with all the comforts of home, like WIFI and cable, a community swimming pool/clubhouse, tennis courts, and overall “peace for your peace of mind.” The homes feature spacious, eat-in kitchens, adjoining full-service laundry, plush, leather furnishings throughout the home, four private bedrooms in ranch- style homes, offering 2.5 bathrooms. The newest home, PR3, features five private bed rooms and three bathrooms.
